I’m happy to hear about raw sugar. I think I’m doing something half way good and find out the opposite! Typically I’m not a candy person, which I’m happy about. But I do on a very rare occasion love a payday and a plain Hershey bar. Of course, they aren’t on your list. BUT, the good news is I love high cacao (80-88%) chocolate. Will you be passing out vegan candy this year?
And what is in gelatin? And to think of shellac on candy UGH!!!

Gelatin is made from cow or pig bones, skin, and connective tissue. 😝
I’ve decided to skip the vegan candy and sweets for trick-or-treating this year and only hand out non-food alternatives. After a couple of years living in our neighborhood, I’ve found the kiddos really love the non-food goodies!
